Today is National Thrift Shop Day. I did not know such a day existed! But, hey, I'm all for it, since it is celebrating one of my most favorite places in the world!
I thought I would honor the day by sharing some of my most favorite Thrift Shop Finds from the past few years. There have been many...
...and each one comes with a special memory of the time, place and excitement of finding it.
Which is exactly what I love the most about thrifting.
Every time I look around my home, each lovely thing (at least lovely to me) brings an emotion, and a happy one at that.
It makes me feel loved and secure.
Like Home should.
Sometimes the time comes for a thrifted treasure to move on to new places. To another home. This is just part of the adventure.
But it will always hold a special place, and memory, in my heart.
Which is what it's all about.
